VECTED in free fall

VECTED thermal imaging devices are a valuable tool for all types of special forces in performing their many tasks. The fact that they can be used as an observation device and then mounted as a clip-on in front of a riflescope in seconds makes our thermal imaging devices extremely versatile. In addition, unlike almost all other clip-on devices, our thermal cameras do not need to be sighted in. Special police and military units from more than 10 countries were able to see this for themselves at Paradays, a specialist event for parachuting special forces (vertical movement). Icy temperatures of – 50 °C at jump altitude during HAHO jumps are no problem for VECTED thermal imaging devices, nor is the low pressure at these altitudes. And in the event of a water landing, our devices are also suitably qualified for this.

After landing, our devices are ready for use in around 5 seconds at the touch of a button. This allows the soldiers to scan the terrain around the landing area for possible enemies at lightning speed, day or night, and, if necessary, fight them immediately and precisely by placing the thermal imaging device on their weapon, despite camouflage or darkness.
